Keonju Lee – Piano

Keonju Lee is a talented South Korean pianist who completed her musical studies in South Korea and at the Hochschule für Musik und Tanz Cologne, Germany. From an early age, she distinguished herself as a soloist, performing major works such as Rachmaninoff’s Piano Concerto No. 2 and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue.

In 2022, she was selected as a Britten/Pears Young Artist in the United Kingdom, where she had the opportunity to work under the guidance of the renowned conductor Sir Antonio Pappano.

Specializing in Lied accompaniment, opera coaching (répétiteur), and chamber music, she has performed extensively throughout Europe, as well as in Canada and the United States. In 2024, she was awarded Second Prize in the Lied Duo category at the Vocalis International Festival.

Highly regarded for her sensitive, versatile, and expressive musicianship, Keonju Lee regularly collaborates with soprano Anna Moog in various artistic projects across Germany. Since the inauguration of the Festival Internacional de Adra Anna Moog, she has been an integral part of the festival and continues to play a key role in shaping its musical identity.

Ramon Mundin  Tenor

is an outstanding Brazilian tenor who completed his Master's degree in Music Theatre at the University of Music and Dance Cologne (HfMT Cologne) under the guidance of Prof. Mario Hoff. He has received awards from prestigious institutions such as the Fondazione Luciano Pavarotti (Italy) and the Maria Callas Competition (South America), and has been awarded scholarships by Cultura Artística and the Goethe-Institut.

In Brazil, he has performed at some of the country's most important venues, including the Theatro Municipal de São Paulo and the Palácio das Artes. In Germany, he appeared at the Cologne Opera as Tybalt in Boris Blacher's Romeo und Julia and performed roles at the HfMT Cologne, including the Dance Master in Richard Strauss' Ariadne auf Naxos. He has also collaborated with the Kölner Opernkiste, performing the role of Hänsel.

His concert repertoire includes Rossini's Petite Messe Solennelle and Bruckner's Te Deum with the RWTH Aachen University Orchestra, as well as numerous Lied recitals in Düsseldorf. He has further refined his artistry in masterclasses with internationally acclaimed singers such as Vittorio Grigolo and Eliane Coelho. Deeply committed to making classical music accessible, he also participated in the Brazilian educational project "Ópera na Escola", introducing opera to young audiences.

Rocío Bogas Funes – Dancer

is a Spanish dance choreographer specializing in Spanish Dance. She completed her professional training at the Conservatory of Dance in Almería and later earned her Higher Degree in Choreography at the Higher Conservatory of Dance in Málaga. Throughout her career, she has further developed her artistic skills through numerous masterclasses with renowned dancers and teachers of Spanish dance and flamenco.

She currently serves as the director of the Municipal Dance School of Adra, where she combines artistic leadership with an extensive commitment to dance education. Her career has been recognized with awards in choreography competitions, and she has created and directed numerous dance productions. Through her work, Rocío Bogas has established herself as a leading figure in the promotion, teaching, and preservation of Spanish dance and flamenco.

Julián Sánchez Carballo

Julián Sánchez Carballo – Trumpet

is a Spanish trumpeter from Huétor Vega, Granada. Composer, and music educator, widely regarded as one of the most versatile and creative jazz musicians in Spain. His remarkable musical versatility has led him to collaborate with renowned artists from the worlds of jazz, flamenco, and Brazilian music, including Jorge Rossy, Chano Domínguez, Miguel Poveda, and Hermeto Pascoal. He has lived and worked in New York, Barcelona, and Brazil, and has performed at prestigious international festivals such as the North Sea Jazz Festival and the JazzPlaza Festival in Havana.

He was awarded First Prize at the 5th Tete Montoliu Jazz Composition Competition (SGAE) for his composition Sin Tempero, which he premiered with his trio Triplanetas at the National Auditorium of Madrid. He has also been recognized as Best Soloist at the Alcañiz Jazz Competition and received an award at the Jazz al Lago Festival for his creativity, musicality, and artistic energy.

As a composer and arranger, Julián Sánchez Carballo has released more than ten albums as a leader or co-leader, including Aires, Brazulada, and Triplanetas. Alongside his performing career, he has dedicated over twenty years to music education. He holds a degree in Music Education and has taught jazz and improvisation at prestigious institutions such as the Liceu de Catalunya, the Conservatory of Valencia, and the Centro de Artes y Música Moderna (CAMM) in Málaga. He has also given masterclasses at universities and participated in international educational projects in South Africa and Brazil. He currently serves as the Director of the Big Band of the University of Almería.

Elene Tsartsidze – Violine

is an internationally acclaimed Georgian violinist, conductor, and music educator. She studied at the prestigious conservatories of Moscow and St. Petersburg, launching a distinguished international career that began with the celebrated ensemble Mziuri (1971–1980). She later toured extensively throughout Europe as a soloist and, in 1999, completed a major artistic residency in China, collaborating with the leading orchestras of Beijing and Shanghai.

A central figure in Georgia’s musical life, she co-founded the Quartet of Georgia in 1996 and established the renowned violin ensemble Si-Mi in 1987. Through this ensemble, she has dedicated decades to nurturing young musical talent. Under her artistic direction, Si-Mi has received numerous awards at international festivals in Turkey and Bulgaria, while Elene Tsartsidze herself was honored with the Grand Prix at the Georgian national competition "Find Your Star" in Tbilisi in 2023.

Many of her students have gone on to achieve international success, performing with renowned orchestras and in prestigious concert halls, including the Shanghai Philharmonic Orchestra and Vienna’s Musikverein.

Most recently, Elene Tsartsidze completed a successful concert tour across Texas, USA, with the Si-Mi Ensemble, where she also gave masterclasses at the Rojas School of Music. A special highlight of the tour was a concert with her daughter, soprano Anna Moog, bringing together two generations of musicians in a unique and inspiring artistic collaboration.

Olga Tarasova – Cello

is an acclaimed cellist and a prominent figure in Spain’s classical music scene. She combines an outstanding performing career with a strong commitment to music education and currently serves as both a professor and a member of the prestigious Málaga Philharmonic Orchestra (Orquesta Filarmónica de Málaga – OFM).

She is the President of the Gradus ad Parnassum Music Association and the Artistic Director of the renowned Estepona Young Performers Competition. Under her leadership, the competition has become one of Spain’s leading platforms for young musicians, collaborating with distinguished institutions such as the Escuela Superior de Música Reina Sofía, the Albéniz Foundation, Radio Clásica (RNE), GEWA Strings, and the Málaga Philharmonic Society.

Thanks to her extensive experience and outstanding reputation in the music world, Olga Tarasova was also invited to serve as a jury member of the international BIYAC 2025 competition.

Quinteto de Viento SINFÓNICA

SINFÓNICA Wind Quintet

Founded in Adra in 2022, the SINFÓNICA Wind Quintet was created with the mission of enriching the cultural life of the region and bringing chamber music to a wider audience. The ensemble is renowned for its remarkable versatility, presenting programs that range from classical and contemporary music to popular arrangements and film soundtracks.

The quintet consists of five accomplished musicians: Ana María Rodríguez Sánchez (flute), Paula Fernández Rodríguez (oboe), Ramón Oliva López (clarinet), Javier Hurtado Alcázar (French horn), and Francisco Castilla Gutiérrez (saxophone).

Committed to both artistic excellence and music education, all members combine their active performing careers with teaching at the SINFÓNICA – City of Adra School of Music. With every performance, the ensemble continues to strengthen its reputation through artistic quality, audience engagement, and an ever-expanding and diverse repertoire.
